In the heart of Southern India, Vijay lives a life of hardship, pinned under the weight of poverty. Unable to secure a respectable job, he is thrust into a world of petty crime, pilfering pockets and committing thefts just to get by. His notoriety reaches the police who, instead of apprehending him, hatch a plan to use him as a mole to infiltrate the underworld. Betrayed by this deceptive scheme, Vijay's disdain for the police intensifies.
