In the underbelly of the film industry, Miles Kody, a documentarian resting on laurels from a past success, yearns for his elusive "second" triumph. His pursuit leads him down a chilling path into the murky realm of snuff films, where real lives are extinguished for the sake of morbid entertainment. He crosses paths with Vic, an experienced player in this sinister game, whose cryptic and menacing darkness compels Miles.
Subsumed by his curiosity, Miles becomes ensnared by both his subject matter and Vic himself, his obsession mirrored by his primary benefactor, Carl. Carl, however, is seduced more by the hypnotic charm of the sinister films and the potential financial windfall they promise.
As Miles captures Vic's interviews on tape, he stumbles upon a spectral anomaly - "ghosts" appearing on his video monitor. These spectral echoes, remnants of lives stolen for the snuff films, seem to interact with the video technology, gaining strength and visibility as their energy fields intensify.
Miles' journey takes a darker turn as he uncovers Vic's unholy alliance with the Devil, trading the souls of his victims for diabolical power. As he delves deeper into the abyss, Miles must navigate this haunting world, teetering on the precipice of terror and intrigue.
