Plot

Brimming with an eclectic mix of vibrant personalities, Q-SKY tops the charts as the number one radio station in Los Angeles, not just because of the pulsating tunes they spin, but their unwavering dedication to running the station their way. At the helm of this sonic ship is the rebellious Jeff Dugan, along with his team of unique DJs - the world-weary Mother, the self-obsessed romantic Eric Swan, the nocturnal maestro Prince of Darkness, and the laid-back Laura Coe. However, their harmonious broadcast is threatened when the station's liberal-minded owners decide to introduce army recruitment advertisements, a move that clashes with Q-SKY's free-spirited ethos. Despite Jeff's vehement protests, the corporate bosses are intent on prioritizing profit over melody, setting a course for conflict. The movie paints an intriguing sonic landscape, where the DJs' love for music clashes with the harsh commercial reality, sparking an electrifying rebellion. Faced with the insurmountable pressure of the corporates, the DJs are determined to fight back, staking their careers and the station's soul, in a battle that could cost them more than just airtime. The story weaves a compelling tale of resistance, camaraderie, and the indomitable power of music in the face of adversity.
