In the quaint and charming town of Bedford, Washington, Jules Briggs, an aspiring interior designer, works in her mother Alice's garden center while flipping houses on the side with her loyal contractor, Kenny. Jules' heart is set on her latest project, a duplex she's invested more than her budget in, with the hope of establishing herself in the interior design world. However, her dream takes a complicated twist when she discovers her old flame and former flipping partner, Lance Waddell, owns the other half of the duplex. Lance, who once left town for a solo contractor career in Portland, returns to Bedford to take the reins of his father Ed's contracting business.
