In the heart of Tehran, on Fireworks Wednesday, an age-old Zoroastrian tradition sets the city ablaze with sparks and spectacle. Amidst this vibrant chaos, Roohi, a young woman, embarks on her first day of work. Engaged and naive to the bitter taste of marital strife, she's thrown into a domestic battleground when she's hired to clean the house of a couple on the brink of their holiday to Dubai. The wife, plagued by suspicions of her husband's infidelity, enlists Roohi as an unsuspecting detective. The mission? To infiltrate the salon of the alleged other woman and gather intel. As the day unfolds, Roohi becomes entangled in a complex web of secrets and lies, her presence triggering a series of confrontations, evasions, and revelations. Around her, the couple, their young son, the wife's sister and her husband, and the beautician navigate the tumultuous waters of suspicion and deception. Are the wife's doubts baseless, or is her paranoid behavior driving her marriage towards the precipice?
