Plot

In the heart of a bustling city, Jack Lawrence, a sharp-witted lawyer with a knack for quick retorts, is unexpectedly visited by Collette, a woman from his past. She brings news that disrupts his life's rhythm: her son, Scott, is his. Meanwhile, Dale Putley, a perpetually downcast writer with a quirky sense of humor, also receives a visit from Collette, who delivers the same shocking revelation. As fate would have it, Jack and Dale cross paths, and the peculiar puzzle pieces fall into place. They realize they've been served the same perplexing tale, launching them into a frenzied quest to determine who amongst them is Scott's real father. Their journey takes a turn when they learn that Scott, in a fit of teenage rebellion, has run away to trail a rock band named Sugar Ray. With no choice but to temporarily set aside their paternity puzzle, they embark on a road trip to Sacramento to retrieve the wayward teenager. Upon finding Scott, Jack and Dale's problems are far from over. Their love-struck son slips away from them, plunging them into a madcap chase that tests their teamwork and determination. As they navigate this chaotic adventure, they are also faced with the lingering question: which one of them is Scott's real father? "Fathers' Day" is a whirlwind comedic journey that explores the complexities of unexpected parenthood, the bonds formed through shared goals, and the hilarity that ensues when life throws an unexpected curveball. This film combines humor, heart, and a dash of mystery for an unforgettable cinematic experience.
