In the idyllic Californian town, captivating businessman James operates an opulent home-share rental business, nestled within his grand villa. His enchanting charm and extravagant hospitality make him an irresistible host to his predominantly female guests. Eliza, along with her closest friends, checks into James' luxurious abode. Unlike the others, however, she isn't swayed by James' allure, instead harboring a growing suspicion about him, fueled by tales of a missing guest and an unclaimed necklace found within her quarters. The town sheriff assures Eliza that James is an upstanding citizen, dismissing the rumors as the fabrications of Hector, James' cantankerous neighbor. Undeterred, Eliza continues to openly challenge James' integrity, much to the chagrin of her friends who continue to champion the charismatic host. Simultaneously, James grapples with his own demons, a nefarious business associate, Rio, and an even more dangerous mob boss. These unsavory connections threaten not only James and his business but also all who find themselves within his villa's grand halls. As the plot unfurls, it's clear that everyone is in for a treacherous ride.
