Bad Boys (1995)

Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey serve as detectives with the Miami Police Department. The lifelong friends become embroiled in the seizure of $100 million in drugs. Unlike typical cases, thieves steal the drugs from inside a police evidence lockup. Internal Affairs assumes the criminals proceeded with inside help. Mike asks an informant and former lover for assistance. French kingpin Fouchet murders the ex-lover as one of her companions, Julie, escapes the situation. Julie knows the name of Mike and refuses to speak to anyone but him. At that point, Marcus and Mike need to switch identities and keep Julie alive long enough to testify against Fouchet and solve the drug theft case.
