Valerie Plame worked for the CIA as a supervisor of covert operations. Her cover was destroyed by a leak that appeared to have come from inside the Bush administration. This may have been payback for an article that her husband wrote. In the article, Plame's husband, Joe Wilson, disputed the White House's claim that Iraq had nuclear weapons.
