In the whirlwind world of sensationalist television, Michelle Fox is a reporter with a penchant for the bizarre, hosting the popular show "Weird World". Her latest obsession: a captivating tale of alien abduction and impregnation from Cat, a young woman from the secluded Welsh island of Scalled. Desperate to boost her show's sagging ratings, Michelle convinces her chief to let her lead a team to Scalled, all in search of the truth behind Cat's unbelievable story. Michelle assembles a motley crew: Ricky Anderson, the stalwart cameraman with his reliable sound technician; Gavin Gorman, a nerd with an encyclopedic knowledge of ufology and ley lines; Candy Vixen, a fiery actress, and an enigmatic gay actor, all willing to risk the unknown for the sake of the story.
