Plot

In the futuristic landscape of 2041, renowned roboticist Alex Garel finds himself lured back to his past when he returns to his native town and the hallowed halls of his alma mater. His mission? To breathe life into a revolutionary line of childlike robots, a project proposed by his friend Julia. However, the past isn't quite ready to release its grip on Alex. He encounters his brother David and his former flame Lana, who is now David's wife, adding a layer of complexity to his homecoming. In the midst of this emotional maelstrom, Alex finds an unexpected muse in his vibrant, 10-year-old niece, Eva. He observes her, studying her behavior and conducting emotional tests to help shape the persona of his robotic creation. However, these interactions with Eva stir up a whirlpool of conflicting emotions, causing Alex to question the very project he was so eager to undertake. Simultaneously, his rekindled feelings for Lana begin to simmer, adding to his turmoil. As he navigates these choppy emotional waters, he begins to suspect that young Eva, as imaginative and delightful as she appears, may be harboring a significant secret - a secret that involves herself and Lana. Unraveling this mystery becomes as crucial as the groundbreaking project, as both hold the key to Alex's future and his past.
