Escape to Victory (1981)

In the crucible of World War II, a unique game of cat-and-mouse ensues within the grim confines of a German prison camp. An unsuspecting German officer, witnessing the inmates' skill in football, sees an opportunity for a propaganda coup. He proposes a high-stakes football match, pitting the camp's prisoners, led by the former England player Colby, against a team of formidable German soldiers.
