In the gritty underbelly of Hong Kong, 1986, resides Sam, a sneaky character portrayed with disquieting ease by Anthony Wong. Caught in the salacious act with his boss's wife, Sam's life takes a horrifying turn when his vengeful boss, fueled by jealousy, attempts to castrate him. Unleashing his inner fury, Sam annihilates all gang members, leaving only the boss's daughter alive before fleeing to the perceived safety of South Africa. Unwittingly, the customers devour the infected meat, causing the virus to spread even further. With newfound wealth from his deceased boss's hidden stash, Sam makes a bold move back to Hong Kong, buying back his former girlfriend from her drug-addicted husband. However, his brief taste of happiness is marred by the rampant spread of the Ebola virus throughout Hong Kong. As the long arm of the law, the medical fraternity, and the vengeful daughter of his old boss close in on him, Sam finds himself cornered, desperately grasping for a way out of the chaos he has unleashed. Will he escape or be consumed by the epidemic he has inadvertently spread?
