Dynamite Pass (1950)

In the rugged wilderness of the old West, cowboys Ross Taylor and his companion Chito Rafferty find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes rescue mission. Road-construction engineer Dan Madden and his wife Mary are held up, unable to commence work on a public road that threatens the monopoly of a toll road run by the malicious Anson Thurber and his band of armed followers. Amidst a torrent of bullets and peril, Ross and Chito escort the Maddens to the construction site, with the illusory help of Jay Wingate, a dubious character who secretly collaborates with Thurber while pretending to support the new road. The plot thickens when Madden's crucial surveying tools are demolished under Wingate's deceptive guardianship, leading Ross and Chito to unravel the sinister alliance between Thurber and Wingate. Plotting to eliminate Ross, Wingate cunningly insinuates an illicit affair between Ross and Mary. Ross retaliates, landing him in the clutches of the law, but Chito orchestrates a daring rescue. The trio of Ross, Chito, and Madden outsmart Wingate's subsequent scheme to eliminate them, only to find themselves ensnared in a deadly trap. Trapped within a canyon rigged with explosives and on the brink of detonation by Wingate's men, their survival hangs in the balance, turning their struggle into a pulse-pounding race against time in the explosive film, Dynamite Pass.
