Dry Cycle (2003)

As the sun bids adieu, we meet Dave, a creatively frustrated artist nestled in the monotonous hum of a Laundromat. His mind is a whirlpool of worries, primarily stemming from his wife's ticking biological clock. His mundane existence is rudely disrupted by the arrival of Ruby, a fiery renegade darting from her past, a suspicious baby named Lloyd in tow, and a gun that speaks volumes of her perilous journey. The duo's paths intertwine, sparking an unanticipated escapade that spirals into an audacious blend of comedy, risk, and high stakes. As the moon rules the sky, they are thrust into a whirlwind of unique encounters and precarious circumstances, circling around the innocent yet irritable baby, a stalwart town sheriff, a trigger-happy bounty hunter, and a blabbermouth clown. In this haphazard charade of events, everyone is ensnared in a tangled web of desires and pursuits for the ownership of baby Lloyd.
