Ray, a charismatic, successful architect, rides atop the wave of prosperity but is capsized by the storm of a heart-wrenching divorce. His friends, seeing his desolation, try to illuminate the brighter side of bachelorhood, yet Ray craves the comfort and stability that marriage provides. Suddenly, like a beacon in the fog, he encounters Lena - beautiful, sensuous, enigmatic. Drawn to her like a parched traveler to an oasis, he quickly succumbs to her allure. They swiftly tie the knot, welcome their first child, and Ray basks in the glow of marital bliss.
