Plot

In the unconventional comedy of Dr. Brinks & Dr. Brinks, the untimely death of their world-travelling, philanthropic parents in a plane crash thrusts estranged siblings, Marcus and Michelle Brinks, into an unexpected reunion. Trapped in the labyrinth of their parents' complex estate, the grown children find themselves immersed in a sea of bewildering paperwork that mirrors the perplexing nature of their own lives. As days blend into each other, the siblings become entangled in a whirlwind of chaos, stirred up by Michelle's mischief. In the face of mounting dysfunction, they find solace in the ensuing pandemonium, using it as a diversionary tactic to avoid confronting the raw grief of losing parents they barely knew. Dr. Brinks & Dr. Brinks is a bittersweet exploration of family dynamics, grief, and the art of distraction, where the protagonists dance on the edge of chaos, preferring it to the pain of their loss. They find humor in their dysfunction, turning it into a celebration of the unpredictable nature of life, making viewers laugh and reflect in equal measures.
