Under the twinkling city lights of New York, inside the bustling walls of a renowned hotel, a tale of intrigue and suspense takes flight. The night begins with seasoned airline pilot Jed Towers, nursing his wounds after a romantic fallout with his singer girlfriend, Lyn, who graces the stages of the same hotel. His attention, however, is caught by Nell, a striking woman seen through a neighboring window, who's been recommended by her uncle Eddie, the hotel's elevator operator, to babysit for the unsuspecting Jones family.
