Dr. John Dolittle can do something no one else can do: Talk to animals. After his wife's tragic death, Dr. Dolittle shuts himself away in his family estate, intent on spending the rest of life with only Poly the Parrot, Chee-Chee the gorilla and his other furry friends. However, when Queen Victoria becomes deathly ill, Dr. Dolittle is the only person in the entire kingdom with the skills and connections to try and rescue her. What follows is a magical adventure as Dr. Dolittle slowly realizes that the world is a wonderful place to be.
