Plot

In the shadowy corners of Tulua, Colombia, a once formidable drug empire crumbles into dust around Don Oscar. This could-be Escobar, now a phantom of his former glory, rules over the remnants of his decaying domain, surrounded only by a scant number of loyal guards who have chosen to share his fate. However, an unsettled debt begins to ripple through their lives, bringing forth a cascade of consequences that none could have foreseen. A bag filled with the last vestiges of hidden wealth becomes a macabre baton in a deadly relay, passed from the cold hand of one departed thug to another. As the body count escalates, loyalty becomes an ephemeral promise, wavering amidst the chaos. An ominous ending looms over Don Oscar, painting a black comedy of errors in this tale of underdog criminals. Dogwashers is not your typical Tarantino-inspired saga or a glorified drug lord tale. Instead, it peels back the layers of stereotypes and cliches, offering a raw, unembellished narrative about thugs who are far removed from the limelight of high-stakes crime. It's a tale of men occupying the lower rungs of the criminal ladder, their lives devoid of first-, second-, or even third-class criminal glamour. This is their story, a tale as unique as it is simple, challenging the conventional norms of the genre.
