Plot

In a tongue-in-cheek exploration of modern love and dating, "Dog Park" invites viewers into a world where the local dog walk becomes the new social hotspot for romance. Here, we meet our mild-mannered protagonist, who finds himself tossed aside by his current girlfriend for a new suitor, and subsequently, loses his beloved collie, Mogley, in the process. In a whimsical twist, Mogley ends up on the couch of a canine psychiatrist, who uncovers the dog is dealing with trauma caused by witnessing his new mistress' intimate escapades. Meanwhile, our hero, in his quest for love, finds himself bewitched by a children's television show hostess. However, her fixation with her own dog, Peanut, leaves him in the dust. Bouncing back, he finds himself entangled with an effervescent blonde who, in her vivacity, overwhelms him. Simultaneously, he navigates the awkwardness of his best friends, Jeri and Jeff, whose incessant public affection seems only to exacerbate his romantic struggles. "Dog Park" is a comical romp through the trials and tribulations of contemporary dating, complete with a side of canine therapy, showing that sometimes, love can be a ruff ride.
