Plot

In the heart of an inventor's workshop, three adventurous spirits - Ernie, the audacious daredevil; Julia, his inquisitive little sister; and Max, their ingenious best friend - inadvertently activate a time-machine masquerading as an egg-shaped oddity. A ripple through time sweeps them off their feet, catapulting them back 65 million years into a world teeming with fascinatingly perilous prehistoric life. In this ancient realm, they find themselves nestled within a nest of dinosaur eggs, under the watchful eyes of a colossal T-Rex named Tyra, voiced by Melanie Griffith. Astonishingly, they're not on the menu but rather welcomed into the dinosaur family, embraced as siblings by Tyra and her mischievous dinosaur offspring, Dodger, brought to life by Rob Schneider. As this unlikely family explores the thrilling vistas of this bygone era, they must evade the nefarious intentions of Tyra's predatory rivals, voiced by William Baldwin and Stephen Baldwin. Every heart-stopping encounter and breathtaking discovery is a ticking clock, for they must find their way back to the present before the real dinosaur eggs hatch. Meanwhile, in the comfort of the present day, Ernie and Julia's overly cautious mother, voiced by Jane Lynch, and Max's inventor father, weave intricate plans to rescue their time-traveling children. Their adventure is an exhilarating race against time, a journey of survival, family and friendship in the face of monstrous odds.
