In the shadowy aftermath of World War II, the tale of a heart-rending love triangle unfolds through a series of poignant flashbacks. Desire Me (1947) tells the story of Marise, a woman caught between her love for her presumed dead husband Paul and her growing feelings for Jean, a man who survived the horrors of a German POW camp alongside Paul.
