In the cusp of the new millennium, Madrid, 1999, four youthful adventurers - Costa, Roge, Pepo, and Juan Luis - board a train to embark on a long-cherished dream: a whirlwind tour across Europe. Fate, however, has a different plan. When their luggage is stolen at their first stop, Paris, a comedic chaos ensues. Three of them, Costa, Pepo and Juan Luis, disembark to chase the thieves, unwittingly leaving behind Roge, who's been bound to his seat by the cunning culprits. Their pursuit is fruitless, and they lose not only their belongings but also Roge when the train resumes its journey, crushing their dream. Fast forward 20 years and the friends have diverged down different paths. The once charming Costa is now a blue-collar art scammer, clinging onto his fading allure. Roge finds himself entangled in a loveless marriage to the icy Tina, babysitting their children under her watchful eye. Pepo, the eternal student, drifts from one apartment to another, evicted each time for failing to pay rent. Their monotonous lives take an unexpected turn when they are summoned for the reading of their deceased friend Juan Luis' will. A peculiar condition for inheritance is set: they must complete the trip they couldn’t make 20 years ago. The catch? They must visit the same destinations, document it on social media, and bring along Juan Luis' ashes, allowing him to vicariously experience the journey. Despite their initial hesitance, the promise of a 600,000 EUR inheritance and a ticking one-week deadline propel them onto a belated adventure. Like fish out of water, each friend grapples with personal challenges. Costa attempts to prove his lingering machismo by charming a young beauty, Lisa. Roge desperately tries to win back Tina, only to find she doesn't miss him at all. Pepo remains the embodiment of chaos, seeking a never-ending party. As they cause havoc at every turn, the three friends not only embark on the journey of their dreams but also confront their worst nightmares. Their past and present collide with the force of a trainwreck. Will they manage to secure the inheritance and preserve their friendship before they drive each other to the brink of insanity? The journey of a lifetime awaits.
