Demon (2013)

After a meticulous internal inquiry, F.B.I. special agent Nicole Diaz finds herself exonerated and reassigned to her hometown of Oro Negro. The mission? To unravel the enigma surrounding the chilling murders of two fellow agents in Sarasota, Florida. She is met with scorn from the local Sheriff, a man who believes his authority is undermined by the arrival of a woman. Initially, the killings seem the handiwork of drug traffickers or smugglers. That is until the town's Tribal Ranger unveils a ghastly truth - the victims were found drained of blood, suggesting a darker force at play. His theories, however, are brushed aside. The plot thickens when a cryptic woman and her assistant surface amidst an autopsy, confessing to the creation of an ultimate weapon - a creature engineered for desert warfare, now on the loose. Their request – assistance in recapturing the beast. Caught in a whirlpool of uncertainty, Nicole rallies a team to hunt down the creature. But as bizarre occurrences unravel, her faith in her allies begins to waver.
