Plot

In the sun-baked town of Sundown, the air is thick with tension as Bart Allison storms in with vengeance in his eyes and a score to settle. After a relentless three-year search, Bart finds Tate Kimbrough, the man he blames for his wife's tragic demise. Unfazed by the celebratory atmosphere of Kimbrough's wedding day, Bart delivers an ominous warning: death is knocking at Kimbrough's door. As Bart's deadly intentions become clear, the wedding festivities are abruptly halted by a violent shoot-out in the church, sending the town into a whirlwind of chaos. Bart and his loyal trail companion, Sam, are forced to take refuge in the livery stable, surrounded by the menacing Sheriff and his men, all puppets under Kimbrough's iron grip. However, the tables turn when Sam is ruthlessly shot in the back after being promised a safe exit. This act of treachery ignites a fire within some of the townsfolk, leading them to rebel against the Sheriff's men and disarm them, leaving the Sheriff to face Bart's wrath alone. After dispatching the Sheriff, Bart suffers an injury to his gun hand, setting the stage for a final showdown with Kimbrough, now left-handed. As the plot thickens, the true reasons behind Bart's actions grow murkier, causing the town to question the narrative they've been fed and reevaluate their blind loyalty to Kimbrough. The story unfolds in an escalating crescendo of suspense, as an entire town watches, breathless, the sun setting on their once peaceful existence.
