In the heart of the art world, Dawn Goldie, a successful painter, appears to have it all: a thriving gallery, a doting husband named Alex, and their cherubic two-year-old son, Lennox. Yet, a shadow looms over her seemingly perfect world—the untimely demise of her closest confidant, Cori, two years prior—an event that continues to torment her. The unexpected arrival of an enigmatic novel on her birthday, intended for another, engulfs Dawn in its intrigue, pulling her away from her flourishing career and idyllic family life.
