In the inhospitable expanse of the desert, the merciless sun reigns supreme, its fiery breath scorching everything beneath it, while the frigid nights hold enough chill to steal away life. This vast wilderness is teeming with dangerous fauna, their wild, untamed nature a stark contrast to the realm of humans. It's a place where losing one's way can mean a fight for survival. Regrettably, such a fate has befallen a group of teenagers – Todd, Josh and their friends – who, along with a couple of hitchhikers they've picked up, have strayed off course on their way to a ski trip. They find themselves stranded in an alien world, miles away from any vestige of civilization. The desert's inhabitants – the slithering snakes, venomous scorpions, cunning coyotes, and stealthy spiders – are said to fear humans more than we fear them. However, the group's fear is not only justified but imperative, for in this desolate stretch of the California desert, there lurks a creature unlike any other. A colossal beast, unyielding and savage, that doesn't flinch at the sight of humans but instead harbors a voracious appetite for their flesh. It's a formidable entity, primal and ceaseless, driven by an insatiable hunger.
