Dead End Road (2004)

Seasoned Detective Burt Williams has spent the last three years tirelessly tracking the notorious "Poe Killer", a case that becomes even more personal when the latest victim is the glamorous fashion model, Heather Makepiece. The heightened tension and urgency of the case draws the attention of the FBI, including Burt's own daughter, Kris Williams. An astute homicide agent, Kris, alongside her steadfast partner Sean Michaels, takes command of the case, leading to a reluctant and disheartened Burt stepping away into retirement. Over the following months, the shadow of the "Poe Killer" looms larger as his gruesome spree continues unabated. However, a breakthrough emerges when Kris uncovers the killer's sinister use of internet chat rooms to lure his victims. Posing as "Annabel Lee", she manages to make contact with the elusive predator. Aided by Larry, their tech-savvy ally, they arrange a rendezvous at a local bowling alley. However, the operation takes a disastrous turn when Kris is captured, and Sean meets a tragic end. Now, the clock is ticking perilously towards an impending doom. In a desperate race against time, a retired Burt and his former partner, Grace Andrews, must unravel the twisted trail of the "Poe Killer", in a last-ditch effort to save Kris from becoming his next macabre masterpiece.
