In the heart of an eerie forest, young Johanna Ravn is brutally attacked by a figure garbed in an orange jumpsuit. Her attacker coldly drills into her skull and abandons her lifeless body. In a twist of fate, Johanna miraculously returns home, but she is irrevocably altered. Black oil seeps from her eyes, and her desperate pleas for help manifest in cryptic messages on her computer screen.
