Plot
Arnie and Dennis have been best friends since childhood. Now teenagers, Arnie is a bullied nerd who doesn't fit in, and Dennis is a popular football player. When Arnie falls in love with an old junker car, Dennis can't stop him from buying it. Arnie begins to spend all of his time obsessively repairing the car, which he has named Christine. His demeanor starts to change, and he gets a date with the beautiful new girl in town. But Arnie's bullies are turning up dead, and Dennis starts to think that Christine might be connected in some supernatural way.
