Dark Relic (2010)

In the tumultuous year of 1099AD, in the heart of the Holy Land, the first Crusade is drawing to a close. Once a formidable force, Christian knight Sir Gregory and his hundred men are whittled down to a mere handful, including his loyal squire Paul, humble friar George, and the haughty Sir Robert. Amid the chaos, they unearth a divine artifact - a piece of the True Cross, setting them on a sacred quest to Rome to present their find to the Pope. Their journey, however, is fraught with peril. The vessel they charter to navigate the treacherous seas runs aground, claiming the lives of their crew. Undeterred, the knights press on overland, where they encounter three Turkish warriors locked in combat with bandits, and two pilgrims - a woman named Rebecca and a man shrouded in mystery. Sir Gregory and his men plunge into the fray, vanquishing the bandits and gaining unexpected allies. As night falls, their already dwindling numbers are further reduced. The unnamed pilgrim and one of the knights mysteriously vanish, marking the onset of a series of sinister events. Sir Gregory soon realizes that they are being shadowed by malevolent forces hell-bent on annihilating the holy relic. With this unholy threat looming over them, he must summon the courage to protect the relic, confront the darkness, and ensure their mission is not doomed to failure.
