Dancing with Crime (1947)

Post-World War II Britain sets the stage for the gripping tale of Dancing with Crime. The story follows Ted Peters (Sir Richard Attenborough), a hardworking taxi driver, and his old army comrade, Dave Robinson (Bill Owen), who finds himself entangled in the ruthless world of the mob. As Dave revels in his newfound lifestyle of effortless money, he tries to lure Ted into the mob's clutches, an offer Ted vehemently rebuffs.
