Cupid (2012)

In the realm of love and relationships, Eve Lovett stands as a walking contradiction. As the spirited host of a popular TV talk-show, she engages her audiences with sharp wit and candid insights, yet personally, she is a relational disaster. Hardened by failed relationships and cynical about love, Eve doesn't notice the persistent affection of her producer, Rick. Unbeknownst to her, Eve has caught the attention of Vernon Gart, a Cupid with a less than stellar record. Assigned to her as a last-ditch effort to restore his reputation, Vernon poses as a relational counselor, guiding Eve towards an unorthodox proposition. With Valentine's Day looming, Eve is presented with a task: she must match a couple in love before the holiday of hearts. If she succeeds, she'll find her true love; if she fails, her chance at love will vanish forever. As she navigates the labyrinth of potential pairings, her efforts are continually thwarted by her own insensitivity, poor character judgment, and a streak of bad luck. Despite her best efforts, the only successful match she makes, between her receptionist and the mailman, crumbles due to unforeseen circumstances. As Valentine's Day approaches, Eve feels the pressure mounting and her hopes dwindling. Yet, Eve's journey to love is far from over. Unbeknown to her, the solution has been within her grasp all along, hidden in plain sight. With the ticking clock of Valentine's Day growing louder with each passing moment, will Eve realize her true love before it's too late?
