In the vibrant tapestry of life, Augusta Iris, a newly single mother, is navigating her own path after showing the door to her artist husband, Gordie, over his extramarital fling. Caught in the aftermath of his father's affair, Henry finds solace in wielding art as a weapon, constructing an oddball sculpture in his father's studio to channel his pent-up wrath. Mathew, on the other hand, retreats into the comfort of academia and solitude, evading the fiery presence of Bette Mack, Henry's spirited girlfriend who attempts to breathe life into the somber family with her lively advice and cheeky critiques.
