For Otis "Bad" Blake, every day is just tomorrow's hangover. His once-promising music career has all but disintegrated, and he spends his evenings playing third-rate venues while getting blotto drunk. When he meets newspaper reporter Jean Craddock, it looks like his life will take a turn for the better--but first, Bad has to get out of his own way.
