Plot

In the simmering summer of 1963, the paths of the Libner brothers - Marvin, Buddy, and Bobby - converge for the first time in half a decade. Marvin, the eldest, is a dutiful sergeant serving in the U.S. Air Force, while Buddy, the middle child, is a timid dreamer, often lost in the labyrinth of his own thoughts. Bobby, the youngest, is a handsome rebel, carrying the weight of reform school on his defiant shoulders. They are a trio bound by blood yet separated by differences, their shared past a battlefield of childhood squabbles and adolescent resentment. Brought together by their eccentric and tough-as-nails father, the brothers are entrusted with a mission: to transport a pristine 1954 Cadillac - a grandiose birthday present for their mother - from the industrious heart of Detroit to the sunny shores of Miami. It is a task laced with nostalgia, tension, and the promise of reconnection. As the Cadillac, a gleaming symbol of the past and a catalyst for change, carries them across state lines, the brothers are forced to navigate the rocky terrain of their relationships. With every stop and detour, they wrestle with old grudges and unearth buried affections, all while trying to keep the precious vehicle in mint condition. Through humorous mishaps and heartfelt moments, the Libner brothers' journey becomes more than just a drive. It's a road to rediscovering familial bonds and understanding the complex layers of brotherhood. The three disparate souls, in the confines of the vintage Cadillac, learn to become brothers once again. Their story is a testament to the power of family, forgiveness and the long, winding roads that lead us home.
