In the heart of a North Philadelphia slum, the battlefield scars of two war-torn veterans, Tommy Donahue and DD Davis, run deeper than their physical wounds. After surviving the brutal realities of Iraq, they return home, only to face another war-zone in their own neglected neighborhood. Tommy, a long-absent father, is thrust into the intimate chaos of domestic life. His wife Faith, whom he left pregnant, and his four-year-old daughter Hope, whom he meets for the first time, are his unexpected saviors.
