In the small town of Ayer, Massachusetts, the bonds of siblinghood are tested in a tale of devotion and justice. Betty Anne Waters, a high school dropout and single mother, and her brother Kenneth 'Kenny' Waters, a misfit with a baby daughter, share a bond unbroken by their troubled upbringing.
