In the cutthroat world of finance, Jack (Andrew McCarthy) is an ambitious executive, striving to scale the corporate ladder at a prestigious brokerage firm headed by the formidable Drew Clayton (Chris Gillett). Jack's professional aspirations are intricately tied to his personal life, as he is romantically involved with the stunningly wealthy and sophisticated Demi Clayton (Stephanie Mills), Drew's daughter. Despite the disapproval of Demi's discerning mother, Clarisse (Jane Moffat), who yearns for her daughter to mingle within their own elite social sphere, Jack holds fast to his plans of a proposal.
In pursuit of the perfect engagement scenario, Jack enrols in dance classes, intending to pop the question at the Clayton family's opulent yearly Christmas Dance. However, an unexpected twist in his rhythmically synchronous life arrives in the form of his dance instructor, Christine (Michelle Nolden). As the chemistry between Jack and Christine intensifies, Jack finds himself caught in an intricate ballet of emotions. With time ticking away, Jack must pirouette through his intricate predicament, making pivotal decisions that will ultimately decide his fate.
