In the heart of a frigid wilderness, Ole stumbles upon Jannicke, a solitary figure staggering through the snow, her spirit hollowed out by shock. He brings her to Otta Sjukehus Hospital, a stark edifice nestled on the outskirts of Stehotinn, where his girlfriend Dr. Camilla works. Jannicke, her voice a whisper of dread, reveals the location of a macabre tableau: the lifeless bodies of her friends Eirik, Mikail, and Ingunn, along with their psychopath tormentor. Skepticism shadows the faces of the local police, but as they delve into the chilling scene Jannicke describes, they unearth a grim reality. The bodies, still etched with terror, are transported to the same hospital's morgue, where the icy grip of death is challenged. Dr. Herman, in a twist of fate, inadvertently revives the psychopath, spinning a new thread of horror into the fabric of their reality. Meanwhile, as Jannicke awakens within the sterile hospital corridors, she grapples with her solitude. Her friends' laughter is now just a haunting echo, yet she is not alone. The hospital, a labyrinth of shadows, holds a lingering nightmare that is far from over. Chief of Police Einar digs deeper, unearthing a string of missing persons connected to this isolated spot.
