In the idyllic town of Branagan, Michigan in 1941, a tale of lost love and unspoken secrets begins to unfold. Ethel Ann, a charming 21-year-old woman, finds herself the object of affection for three male friends. Among them, only Teddy Gordon, a modest country boy with grand dreams of proving his worth, captures her heart.
