In an era where Earth's surface has been transformed into an inhospitable wasteland, devoid of oceans and vegetation due to rampant pollution, humanity has found refuge in sprawling underground cities. Amid the remnants of a once bustling Los Angeles, Lori, an ex-bodyguard, is drawn back into the perilous world she left behind. When her former employer, Juice, is killed during a botched deal with Plughead, an unnerving chip dealer whose appearance blurs the line between man and machine, Lori unexpectedly finds herself in possession of a case filled with electronic narcotics - chips designed to stimulate the brain in a world starved of pleasure. Teaming up with Danner, a robotic gigolo, Lori embarks on a hazardous journey from the subterranean confines of L.A. to the shadowy depths of New York City. Their mission: to sell these coveted chips and outwit those who desire them. However, the chips' intoxicating power has caught the attention of the insidious Plughead. Adorned with an array of sockets and ports on his scalp for chip testing, Plughead is hell-bent on claiming the chips for himself. Their odyssey across the polluted surface becomes a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase, with two inept police detectives and the relentless Plughead hot on their trail. In a world where pleasure is scarce and danger is plentiful, Lori and Danner must navigate their way through this dystopian landscape, with their lives - and the fate of the narcotic chips - hanging in the balance.
