Plot

In the quaint charm of a small Texas town, amidst the festive hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Ethan Walker, a devoted meteorologist and a part-time university professor, finds his life spiraling into a storm of chaos. His expertise in tornado studies leads him to be abruptly awakened in the dead of night by a distress call about a tornado that has just struck. His team is scrambling together at the lab, awaiting his instructions. Meanwhile, his wife Addison, a poised television news reporter, is also called upon to cover the story of the unexpected twister for the morning broadcast. Amid the whirlwind of their professional demands, Ethan detects an ominous atmospheric pattern that suggests more tornadoes are brewing. Despite the cracks in their marriage, he reaches out to Addison, pleading with her to broadcast a warning. But the station's suave meteorologist, with his eyes set on maintaining the holiday cheer, dismisses it as a one-time event. His refusal to spread what he perceives as a hypothetical scare during the joyous Christmas season puts a damper on their efforts. As Addison struggles to convince him, an unthinkable disaster strikes - a tornado ploughs through their home on Christmas Eve. With their house in ruins and their children missing, Ethan and Addison must set aside their differences. United by desperation and love, they embark on a heroic mission to not just save their children, but also help their community navigate through this unexpected Christmas calamity.
