From the frost-kissed expanse of the Arctic comes Theo, an Inuit rooted in aboriginal traditions, dispatched on a mission by his tribal elders to the sprawling metropolis of New York City. His task is as daunting as it is urgent - to warn the power-bearers of the South about the cataclysmic effects of climate change, threatening to unravel the fabric of humanity. Lost in the alien urban jungle, Theo is a polar bear out of its icy realm, until he crosses paths with Chloe, an effervescent, street-smart waif. Chloe, a vagabond with an unlikely fascination for Bruce Lee and an irrepressible zest for life, sees in Theo a kindred spirit, an outsider adrift in a world that barely acknowledges their existence. Taking him under her protective wing as she does with other "strays", Chloe becomes Theo's guide, translator, and companion on this formidable quest. Their journey together evolves into a lesson of discovery, as they grapple with cultural and linguistic differences, and learn to understand each other. As the duo navigates the labyrinth of the city, Chloe introduces Theo to her motley crew of friends, each drawn into their mission for their own personal reasons. The unlikely band of misfits begins to comprehend the magnitude of Theo's message, fostering a mutual appreciation and an unexpected camaraderie. Yet, as denizens of the city's underbelly, they face the daunting task of breaching the impenetrable bastions of power, an undertaking which may prove as challenging as the mission itself.
