In the daily grind of seventh grade, Aske longs for tranquility amidst constant hurdles. He harbors feelings for Jessica, a girl from an older grade, and shares a unique bond with his geeky best friend, Oddyseus. At the same time, Aske grapples with a troubled relationship with his stepfather, Jørn, and stepbrother, Sune, while enduring the tyrannies of Glenn, a bully from a special education class. Aske's world takes an extraordinary twist when his Uncle Stewart gifts him a peculiar ninja doll on his 13th birthday, a souvenir from his recent Thai vacation. Unbeknownst to Aske, this doll is not just a toy but a vessel for the spirit of Taiko Nakamura, a noble Japanese samurai who took his own life in a ritual sacrifice to combat the forces of evil. This unlikely duo embarks on a thrilling quest for justice, seeking retribution for the unjust death of a destitute boy in a Thai sweatshop at the hands of Phillip Eberfrø, a ruthless Danish businessman. Aske's unassuming life transforms into an exhilarating journey of courage and adventure, challenging his newfound friendship with the checkered ninja, and pushing him into a world he never thought he would enter.
