Chaos (2001)

In the heart of the city's underbelly, young prostitute Malika endures a brutal attack by her pimp, an ordeal unwittingly witnessed by Paul and Hélène, an affluent couple cocooned within the safety of their car. Hélène, a woman of privilege yet harboring a spirit of defiance, is inexplicably drawn to Malika's plight. She abandons her sheltered existence and the familiarity of her family to immerse herself in the grim hospital corridors, where Malika lies unconscious, teetering on the brink of life and death.
