Plot

In the chilling depths of the cinematic thriller, Chained (2012), young Sarah Fittler and her son's ordinary journey home from the movies takes a sinister turn when they unknowingly step into the cab of Bob, a seemingly inconspicuous taxi driver with a horrifying secret. Bob harbors an insidious double life as a ruthless serial killer, preying on unsuspecting women he ferries in his taxi, only to lead them to their untimely demise at his isolated dwelling. The Fittlers' fate is sealed when they are taken to Bob's secluded house, and Sarah's son is renamed "Rabbit" and forced into a life of captivity, shackled by the chains of his captor's cruel whims. With the grim taskmaster Bob presiding over his every move, Rabbit becomes an unwilling accomplice in the aftermath of Bob's murderous spree—cleaning the blood and helping bury the victims, while the walls of the isolated house echo with the haunting whispers of the dead. As the years bleed into each other, Rabbit grows from a traumatized boy into a man under Bob’s grim tutelage. His innocence is gradually eroded by the daily spectacle of suffering and death, and Bob's intentions become more ominous. No longer content with keeping Rabbit as his captive, Bob aims to mold him into a chilling reflection of himself, hoping to pass on his legacy of murder. Chained is a dark exploration of the human spirit's resilience in the face of unimaginable horror. Will Rabbit succumb to the sinister current, becoming a twisted mirror image of his captor, or will he rise above, shattering the chains that bind him? The answer lurks in the shadowy corners of this electrifying thriller, promising to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
