In the secretive corridors of global intelligence, a clandestine alliance is formed between the heads of British, French, American, and Soviet spy agencies. The objective: lure the legendary Sir James Bond 007 out of retirement. The peril: an unseen enemy is ruthlessly exterminating their agents. The original Bond, a master of espionage, has passed his name and number to a successor he despises for the latter's excessive reliance on gadgetry. His unimpressive nephew, Jimmy Bond, also fails as a suitable spy candidate. Sir James initially rejects their plea, but the gravity of a fateful incident compels him to not only step back into the field but also helm MI6. But outsmarting SMERSH isn't their only challenge. Even if each Bond succeeds in their mission, the team must uncover the mastermind within SMERSH orchestrating the agent murders and decipher their sinister motives. In this thrillingly unpredictable world of high stakes and double identities, every agent named 'James Bond' is both the hunter and the hunted.
