Plot

After a fateful car crash, our protagonist, Lemuel Gulliver (Lubomír Kostelka), is forced to traverse an unfamiliar landscape on foot. Along the way, he stumbles upon a peculiar sight—a lifeless rabbit garbed as a human, with a watch tucked in its waistcoat. A memento he can't resist taking. As he ventures further, he discovers a semi-derelict house that stirs long-buried memories of his childhood and the tragic loss of his beloved Markéta, a young girl who met her untimely demise by drowning years prior. This strange journey leads Gulliver to Balnibarbi, a land shrouded in mystery, where he finds himself a stranger to its customs and laws, constantly committing faux pas much to the locals' dismay. On an unusual day of enforced silence, Gulliver is coerced into abiding by this peculiar code. Accused of being the rabbit Oscar, due to the watch in his possession, he is subjected to a relentless interrogation. With every attempt to explain his true identity, he is met with disbelief and further suspicion. Gulliver's unexpected journey becomes a struggle to comprehend the unknown, as he strives to make sense of this bizarre world and its even stranger inhabitants.
